In the current building industry, there is a complete lack of entities and processes dedicated to intelligent building operation and management or the implementation of digital twins. In this context, AI should not be seen as a replacement for humans but rather as critical agents that collaborate with engineers or experts to advance the industry. The industry ecosystem requires talent that integrates Building Physics and Informatics, as well as professionals who can engineer and direct AI agents across the entire building lifecycle.
